Description

Oscar Merner is a Swedish artist who today works mainly with painting and sculpture.

In his art, Oscar Merner creates fictional characters drawn from the world of fairy tales and fantasy, where the boundary between dream and reality is very fine.

Inspired by Jan Lööf's detailed imagery and Hergé's iconic adventures, he has developed his own design language filled with storytelling and imagination.

For Skultuna, Oscar Merner has created two fantastic figures in this style; Spicy Lady and Salt Butler. Both are cast in tin and are perfect as containers for salt or other spices.
