The guardian angel from Skultuna is attributed to Carl-Einar Borgström, who designed it in the 40s as a protective symbol during difficult times. Carl-Einar Borgström (born in Ystad 1914 - 1981) was a sculptor trained at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm, he designed a wide range of products, mainly for the defunct Ystad Metall.
Never leave candles unattended. Do not let the candles burn all the way, but extinguish them before they reach the candle holder. Also keep in mind that some surfaces can be extra sensitive to heat. If you are unsure about the tabletop properties, you can exercise extra caution.
