With Carolus IX, Fredrik af Klercker wanted to combine four centuries of craftsmanship with timeless elegance. The softly curved tonneau shape, inspired by classic iconic models created in the early 1900s, gives the watch a classic yet confident character. The name comes from the French word for thin, a shape that symbolizes both strength and harmony.
The model is named after Skultuna's founder, Karl IX. Fredrik af Klercker wanted Carolus IX to represent the best of Swedish and European primordial tradition: a watch for life, created to be worn with the same naturalness with a tuxedo as on the beach.
