An inseparable duo. Tassel and Willow are two small, shy creatures who carry a mysterious suitcase when they arrive in Moominvalley. They prefer to keep to themselves, and they speak their own language. Tofslan and Vifslan usually go away with things that don't belong to them, but they don't mean anything bad. When they see how much the owner misses their things, they usually give back what they have taken.
"So they began to walk down into the valley, conversing in the remarkable way that is peculiar to all Twelves and Waffles. It was not understood by everyone, but the main thing was that they themselves knew what it was about." (The Magician's Hat, 1948).
