Description

Karui is designed by the Danish-Italian design studio GamFratesi. The washers are made by pressure turning, an old production technique. The leather comes from the leading Swedish tannery Tärnsjö, known for its high quality and located near Skultuna in northern Västmanland.

Stine Gam says about the design philosophy of the trays: The trays are called Karui/軽い, which in Japanese means soft but also light. Japanese brings other meanings as well, such as "light/simplicity" which is the informal feeling we want to convey with the Karui platters. Designed in 2015
