Description

LISA LARSON X SKULTUNA Lisa Larson (1931-2024) and her ceramics are well-known representatives of the brilliant Swedish ceramic design of the 20th century. She is well known for her warm-hearted, humorous and sometimes subtly ironic designs. Lisa worked at Gustavsberg's Porcelain Factory from 1954 to 1980 and she is represented at the National Museum.

"I've always been interested in different materials. Over the years, I have mainly worked in the clay, which is so malleable. Now I'm looking forward to seeing Skultuna make my figures in brass. Brass is also an ancient and genuine material that I have always been fascinated by."

Lisa Larson 2023. The figurines are made of solid polished brass.
